The “Rusca” prison is the only women’s prison in Moldova, detaining about 300 inmates. The Salvation Army in Moldova has been working with the prison since it opened over seven years ago.  Its works consists of offering personal contact with individual inmates, the delivery of humanitarian aid, and the organization of practical and academic IT-courses to acquire skills and knowledge for life after release or further employment.
